Merit Badges

Introduction: There are over 130 merit badges! Any Boy Scout may earn a merit badge at any time. Merit badges improve a Scout by helping him to discover more about sports, crafts, sciences, trades, business and careers that might interest him. A Boy Scout can pick any subject he wants, but should always talk to his Scoutmaster first. Click any badge to learn more!

Merit Badge Counselors: Merit badge counselors are specialists in their fields and are able to pass on their knowledge and passion to Scouts through a series of pre-defined requirements every Scout must accomplish to earn that merit badge. merit badge counselors must fill out an adult registration form and the Merit Badge Counselor Application

Sponsorship: Any merit badge may be sponsored in our local 25 county area by a business or individual. Our Merit Badge Sponsors are noted and thanked for their support of Scouting at the top of their selected merit badge.
